In September 2020, this new sow shed was built. The house has room for 900 sows and about 4,500 piglets, which they keep according to the 1-star Beter Leven quality mark. The family consciously chose SPF. "We want to keep healthy pigs. SPF is disease-free and we think that this is a good step towards the future," says John Swinkels. The first gilts will arrive in early July 2021.
