Having our roots in livestock farming, it is in our nature to be very close to our end users. We are a global supplier of innovative automation solutions for poultry, pig and cattle houses. Our climate solutions, automation systems, management software, and the accompanying peripheral equipment, are all developed and produced in-house. 

Our family company started in 1977 and is rooted in livestock farming. We feel committed to this industry. This is where we developed our expertise and have made our investments. No wonder that this sector is every bit as important to us as it is to you. Even more so in the contemporary market where food production is on the increase and animal welfare is an important pillar.

Growing demand for ambitious staff

Our family company is growing and we are constantly looking for ambitious staff who want to grow along with us. We are open to meeting young, recently graduated talents, as well as experienced professionals. We find the development of our staff important, both professionally and personally.  As a result, our employees tend to have long careers with our company, and in several positions. Our flat organisation is characterised by an open culture. Lines are short: all our staff can talk to the Management Team and the Managing Director directly.

One in five employees at Stienen BE works in development. The Development, Marketing, Sales, Production and Logistics departments are all located under the roof of Stienen BE Agri Automation in Nederweert, a town in the centre of the Dutch province of Limburg. The more than seventy employees working in all kinds of technical, commercial and administrative positions have made our organisation successful. Traineeships with Stienen BE

Practice makes perfect, and Stienen BE is living proof of this. We love giving students an opportunity to gain practical experience. We work together intensively with secondary vocational education institutions (Dutch MBO level) and universities of applied sciences (Dutch HBO level) to make sure that theory and practice match up. 

We find it important that you enjoy your traineeship and learn a lot from it. Before you come to us as a trainee, we assess your interests together. We then determine what your traineeship assignment will be. We will give you every freedom to achieve your traineeship’s objective(s) and to expand and/or hone your competencies. You will be doing this in close collaboration with our permanent staff. You will have ample opportunity to learn and gain experience in our internationally active company. Your traineeship at Stienen BE might well be the first step towards a permanent job.
