Belimo Motor Warranty

At Stienen, we greatly value the reliability of our products. We offer a full 5-year warranty on Belimo actuators. To claim this manufacturer’s warranty, a malfunctioning motor must be physically present at the manufacturer’s premises in Switzerland within this period.

The production date is leading

The 5-year warranty period starts on the production date printed on the motor housing (for example: 23/03/2026). As logistics processing and international shipping take time, we apply a final return deadline for our customers:

• Your return deadline: Malfunctioning motors must be returned to us no later than 4 years and 9 months (4 3/4 years) after the printed production date.
• Logistics processing: This 3-month margin allows us to collect the motors and get them to the manufacturer in Switzerland as a batch in good time.

Why this deadline?

By applying this strict guideline, we prevent warranty claims from being rejected by the manufacturer due to late receipt. Unfortunately, we cannot process motors delivered to us more than 4 years and 9 months after the production date under the manufacturer’s warranty.

Check your motors

We advise you to check the production date on the motor immediately in the event of a fault or defect. This way, you will know straight away whether you are still within the 4 3/4-year period for a free replacement or repair.
